Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag has told Overtake Motorsport that the unannounced June round will only take place in London.
The championship won’t be returning to Battersea Park for a third time, after a negative response from the locals. Agag and the series are trying to find a new location for the London ePrix for June 2017.
“We’re working on it,” Agag said to the publication during the recent test at Donnington Park. “We have an option that looks good. I’m not sure if we’ll make it happen in season three or season four.”

The London ePrix has held a double header finale for the first two seasons, with the Sunday race each year deciding the Drivers’ Championship. This year however we will end the season in New York on July 30.
When asked whether they had any alternatives ready for the June 24 slot, Agag said, “No. If we don’t do London, we won’t do anything.”
Season three of the FIA Formula E Championship will see rounds in at least five new venues, with the April 22 slot still to be announced. The drivers will start racing in Hong Kong, and will end the season with double headers in Montreal, Canada and New York, USA.
