The Andretti team have finalised their Formula E lineup for season three, bringing in Antonio Felix da Costa.
The Portuguese driver was part of Team Aguri, now taken over and known as Techeetah, for the first two seasons of Formula E. He will partner Robin Frijns at the American team.
Understandably the 24-year-old is happy with the move, saying on Twitter that it is a great honour to join the Andretti family. He also joked about having an excuse to spend more time in North America now.
Twitter: I love America and the way they do Sports! To join the @FollowAndretti and the Andretti family is a great Honour! Thanks guys!

Da Costa got Team Aguri their first and only win at the Buenos Aires ePrix in season one. The 2015/16 season was a bigger struggle for the outfit, but he was able to get four sixth places across the championship.

“I feel adding him is going to give us one of the strongest driver line ups in the field,” team owner Michael Andretti said in the announcement press release. “We’ve been watching Antonio over the last two seasons and I feel he has been very impressive on the racetrack.
“It will be great to be racing with him, instead of against him.”
Season three for the FIA Formula E Championship is set to kick off on Oct. 9 when Hong Kong host their first ePrix. A month later they will race in Marrakesh, Morocco for the first time.
