As the Formula One circus nears the second half of the 2016 season, it’s time for the British Grand Prix.
Three British drivers will hope to impress the home crowd – 2009 World Champion Jenson Button, three-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton and 2014 GP2 Champion Jolyon Palmer.
Although Hamilton may be the only true contender for a home win, recent races have proved that the British GP can be a classic – last year’s event being one of the many highlights of the season.
It’s a track which can see the likes of Ferrari and Williams climb up the order as the layout suits their very different cars. Although, it’s easy to predict a Mercedes front-row lockout, leaving us to wonder if it’ll be a clean start with Rosberg seeking revenge on his teammate.
It’s the gritty part of the season and drivers will be looking at where they are in the standings, wondering if they can improve.
