Talks are underway to move the London ePrix from Battersea Park to another location in the city next season, Autosport says.
While it wasn’t featured on the calendar for the next season of the FIA Formula E Championship, CEO Alejandro Agag has said that the London ePrix could still take place on June 24, 2017.
“We need to decide very quickly where and how if we’re going to make June 24,” Agag said when questioned. “It will be important which borough we’re in and what council it is. We are optimistic.”

There are two slots on the 2016/17 calendar that haven’t been announced. June 24 is around the same time as the previous London races, while the first open slot on April 22, 2017 is thought to be a new ePrix in Singapore.
Agag is reported to have met with the deputy mayor for business Rajesh Agrawal last weekend, while people linked to new London major Sadiq Kahn were at the London ePrix. They are looking at options in the centre of London.
The Berlin ePrix had to change location this year due to the Tempelhof Airport used in season one being used to house refugees. The race was moved to a more central location near Alexanderplatz, which has arguably provided a better experience.
