Lewis Hamilton won a dramatic 2016 Austrian Grand Prix after overtaking teammate Nico Rosberg on the final lap of the race.
Rosberg also lost out to Max Verstappen and Kimi Raikkonen, the former earning his second podium of his career. Daniel Ricciardo ended the race in fifth behind the German.
Jenson Button started the race third and was second after the first lap, but fell to sixth place still earning his best result since the 2015 United States Grand Prix.
Romain Grosjean scored his first points since Russia after taking full advantage of the safety car period to finish in seventh place.
Sergio Perez lost his points paying position on the penultimate lap, promoting Carlos Sainz into eighth place and Valtteri Bottas to ninth place.
Arguably the story of the race was Pascal Wehrlein who picked up his first point in Formula One and Manor’s first since the 2014 Monaco Grand Prix.
Hamilton slashes Rosberg’s advantage in the Drivers’ Championship to just 11 points while Mercedes extend their advantage to Ferrari to 103 points in the Constructors’ Championship.
