Sarrazin scores points in Berlin after starting in the pits

Despite having to start from the pit lane due to an electrical issue, Stephane Sarrazin was able to maintain his record of scoring points at every ePrix after finishing tenth.

Despite all the difficulties that faced him throughout Saturday, great battery management gave him the opportunity to battle through the field in his second stint, enabling him to continue his run of scoring points in every ePrix.

Speaking about his day, Sarrazin said, “Today has been a difficult day for me starting with a collision in free practice 2. Next, I wasn’t able to do any qualifying simulation and I was like blind during quali. And when you are at the end of the starting grid, it’s difficult to expect anything starting from the last position”.

His teammate Mike Conway was able to claim his best Formula E result, finishing eighth overall.

“Considering we both had accidents early in the day, Stephan and I were both able to come back strong after swapping cars in the pit,” Conway said. “We could have done better as our cars were fast, but I’m satisfied that we have both scored points for our team.”
