Driver Ratings: 2016 Russian Grand Prix

Nico Rosberg won the 2016 Russian Grand Prix and extended his championship leader over teammate Lewis Hamilton to 43 points who finished second despite starting down in tenth.

Kimi Raikkonen earned his second podium in three races and Ferrari’s 700th podium in Formula One.

Williams enjoyed their best result of the season with a fourth and fifth, moving them closer to Red Bull in the Constructors’ Championship.

Max Verstappen was on for sixth place until a power unit failure ended his charge. Fernando Alonso was then promoted to an incredible sixth place, his best result since the 2015 Hungarian Grand Prix.

Danish driver Kevin Magnussen finished in seventh place, Renault’s first points on their return to Formula One as a full works team.

Romain Grosjean ended the race eighth ahead of Sergio Perez who scored points in his 100th GP and Jenson Button who completed a rare double points finish for McLaren.
