Nico Rosberg won the 2016 Chinese Grand Prix and extended his championship leader over teammate Lewis Hamilton to 36 points who finished down in seventh place after starting last and breaking his front wing on the opening lap.
Meanwhile, Sebastian Vettel took his second podium of the season despite a major collision with his teammate Kimi Raikkonen who climbed back up to fifth place from the back.
Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat earned his second career podium ahead of teammate Daniel Ricciardo who recovered well to fourth place after suffering a tyre blowout in the opening laps.
Felipe Massa benefitted from free tyre choice at the start of the race to score eight points for a sixth place finish ahead of Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Carlos Sainz, and teammate Valtteri Bottas who rounded out the top 10.
