Alex Rins takes the Moto2 win from pole position at the Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, Texas.

Nakagami was ousted after contact was made from Simone Corsi at turn 1, Nakagami ended the race 15th after remounting and rejoining the race.
Britain’s Danny Kent was forced to retire, complaining of a clutch problem. his teammate Miguel Oliviera also failed to finish the race, not a good weekend for Keifer racing team.
