The FIA’s World Motor Sport Council has published a provisional calendar for 2016 which consists of 21 races and will see changes from the current calendar.
The season will begin later than usual on April 3 in Australia with the opener hosting a back-to-back race with China.
Russia has been shifted forward to May 1, whilst Malaysia has been moved back to September, following the Singapore Grand Prix.
In change of the current calendar the British Grand Prix will be held a week before Formula 1 visits Austria.
The sport will enter Azerbaijan’s capital of Baku for the first time, which will take place mid-July, with Germany making a return at the end of the month.
