Williams test driver Susie Wolff says he is looking forward to her practice outing at the upcoming British Grand Prix after a difficult day at the Red Bull Ring which was severely affected by heavy rain.
Wolff completed 39 laps and was slowest out of the nine runners, 2.2 seconds off the pace set by Pascal Wehrlein.
”It was not the perfect day as running was curtailed by the weather. During nearly all of my dry running I was focusing on aero work, which is important for the team, but isn’t the best preparation for my outing at Silverstone.” said Wolff
”It was still good be in the car and I will take the positives from the day. I now look to Silverstone which will be an important day and one I am really looking forward to.”
Valtteri Bottas will drive for Williams on day two of the mid-season test in Austria.
