Felipe Massa has expressed his delight over finishing on the podium for the first time in 2015.
The Brazilian started from pole position in 2014 however was unable to convert this into a podium finish.
Massa maintained his fourth position off the start and passed Vettel through the stops as the Ferrari driver suffered a considerably long pit-stop.
“I am delighted with the result, the team did a great job and it was a fantastic race. We made the most of the slower Ferrari pitstop and took all the opportunities that came to us to achieve my first podium of the year.
Despite having considerable pressure from Vettel in the final ten laps, Massa withstood the pressure exerted by Vettel and scored his 40th career podium.
The team were pushing me a lot throughout the final stages of the race and I was doing my best to keep Vettel behind. I knew it was not the time to make mistakes and it was amazing to bring it home.” added Massa.
