Nico Rosberg topped the timesheets in final practice ahead of qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix.
The 60-minute session was halted on two separate occasions due to red flags. Felipe Nasr crashed on the back straight as he weaved for tyre temperature but spun into the barrier.
The second red flag was caused by McLaren’s Jenson Button who stopped out on circuit at turn two.
The two red flag periods meant majority of the teams did not have the chance to run on the super-soft tyres ahead of qualifying.
Kimi Raikkonen was second fastest for Ferrari ahead of Romain Grosjean and Valtteri Bottas.
Force India’s Sergio Perez enjoyed a strong final practice as he was fifth fastest ahead of the highest placed Renault powered runner in Daniil Kvyat. Massa, Sainz, Vettel and Maldonado completed the top ten.
Fernando Alonso missed majority of the session after having an engine change.
