Romain Grosjean has been demoted to tenth on the grid having been involved in a pit-lane infraction.
Grosjean reached the final qualifying session and originally qualified eighth for tomorrow’s race.
Although during the second qualifying session he was adjudged to have lined up in a different order to before in the queue of cars desperate to post a lap before the incoming rain shower arrived at the track.
The FIA in a post-qualifying investigation found the Frenchman guilty of breaking Article 23.6 of the sporting regulations and was consequently handed a two-place grid drop. Promoting both Valtteri Bottas and Marcus Ericsson one place each on the grid.
