Reports suggest that Stefan GP the outfit from Serbia are in talks with Marussia about buying the the team for 2016. As we know Marussia are struggling financially along with Sauber and Lotus.
If Stefan GP buy Marussia for next year they will re-brand the team “Stefan GP” and still construct there F1 and road cars in Russia.
Stefan GP was very close to entering the series in 201o, but Bernie Ecclestone deiced not to allow them as there emissions was not to FIA rules, as they were to high.
Zoran Stefanovic, Stefan GP owner says ” its always been a dream to be on the F1 grid”
“and that my outfit was never good enough to race in this demanding series, so maybe buying Marussia is the best option for me”
“If i buy them i want to introduce some radical Aero packages which Stefan GP have invented in Russia, and get Maruusia higher up the F1 grid”
