2016 F1 Season Review: Driver Rankings Part Two

The 2016 Formula One season was rounded off with a captivating season finale under the floodlights in Abu Dhabi.

After 21 rounds of thrilling racing, it was Nico Rosberg who emerged as world champion, narrowly beating his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton by just five points to take his first world title.

The German was just one star in a season full of drivers exceeding all expectations. From Max Verstappen silencing his critics to Sergio Perez scoring two shock podiums in Monaco and Azerbaijan.

2016 was a real changing of the guard as it witnessed the retirement of Jenson Button, Felipe Massa and even champion Nico Rosberg. New stars such as Carlos Sainz and Esteban Ocon stole the limelight, with the latter already making a move up the grid to Force India in 2017.

This season saw a multitude of drivers showcasing their full talent and enjoy a fruitful season, but which driver impressed us the most?
