McLaren Racing signs multi-year partnership with Edward Jones

McLaren Racing Secures Multi-Year Deal With Edward Jones

McLaren Racing has signed a multi-year partnership with Edward Jones. The wealth manager becomes the team’s Official Private Wealth Management Partner across Formula 1 and IndyCar. The McLaren Racing Edward Jones deal covers both championships and follows a staged rollout that starts next season.

Edward Jones will appear on driver helmet visors in Formula 1 from 2026. A year later, the firm becomes primary sponsor of the #6 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet in IndyCar. The deal joins McLaren’s existing roster of partners across both series, and its scope will grow as the rollout continues into 2027.

Official Details and Sourcing of the Commercial Agreement

McLaren Racing confirmed the partnership in a statement reported by the Motorsport.com official announcement, which set out the scope of the deal across both series. Team CEO Zak Brown welcomed the news. He said: “Edward Jones has a long history of supporting its clients and communities, and we’re excited to welcome them as McLaren Racing partners.”

He also pointed to the cultural fit between the two organisations: “We have a shared commitment toward preparation and continuous improvement through a peoplefirst culture, making this partnership a natural fit.” The agreement adds to a strong commercial year for the team, which has posted commercial milestone projections in 2026. McLaren has not disclosed financial terms for the Edward Jones deal.

F1 Visor Branding and Scott Dixon IndyCar Impact

The activation starts in the 2026 Formula 1 season. Edward Jones branding will appear on driver helmet visors at selected grands prix, and the brand will also have a presence at marquee events on the calendar. The scheme then expands in 2027. Edward Jones becomes the primary partner for the #6 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet at the 111th Indianapolis 500, and it will back the car at select IndyCar races that year too.

Scott Dixon has been confirmed as driver of the #6 entry for the whole of the 2027 IndyCar campaign. That gives the partnership a clear focus on track. Kevin Thimjon welcomed Edward Jones to the #6 crew ahead of the new season: “With the #6 crew entering an exciting new chapter next season, we look forward to bringing them on board and competing together on some of the biggest stages in motorsports.”

Hema Widhani framed the partnership in terms familiar to her own industry: “Whether on a racetrack or in a financial plan, success is rarely the result of a single moment; instead, it’s built through preparation, discipline and thousands of decisions made over time. What excites us most about McLaren Racing is the culture of teamwork, resilience and continuous improvement behind every performance. Those are many of the same principles that help our clients navigate complexity and achieve what’s important to them.” The move follows a string of recent IndyCar developments around the Arrow McLaren team this season.

Timeline for the 2026 F1 Launch and 2027 Indy 500 Entry

The rollout follows a clear two-stage plan. Formula 1 fans will see the first Edward Jones branding on visors during selected 2026 races, plus appearances at marquee weekends on the calendar. The IndyCar phase begins in 2027. Edward Jones then takes on primary sponsorship of the #6 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet for the 111th running of the Indianapolis 500, along with further select rounds that season.

The McLaren Racing Edward Jones partnership builds gradually. That gives both organisations time to establish the branding on track before IndyCar’s biggest race arrives. Dixon’s presence in the #6 car throughout that campaign gives supporters like us a clear driver to follow, right through to the deal’s centrepiece weekend at Indianapolis.
