According to reports, 38-year-old Fernando Alonso is set to come out of retirement to race for Renault in the 2021 Formula One season. Since retiring in 2018, the two-time world champion has raced in IndyCar and in the Dakar Rally, and he also won the famous Le Mans 24 Hours race, but it looks like he has his eyes set on an F1 return. The Spaniard certainly won’t be the first sports star to be drawn back into competing, and probably won’t be the last!
