Marc Marquez eased to victory today at the Circuit of the Americas, easily beating out the rest of the field despite his three place grid penalty.
The Spaniard took the win home, easily dispatching of the rest of the field to continue his dominance at the Circuit of the Americas.
Marquez finished ahead of Maverick Vinales and Andrea Iannone, with the pair fighting it out for the final two podium spots.
Valentino Rossi was fourth with Andrea Dovizioso fifth. The result saw Dovi take the lead in the standings by one point.
Johann Zarco was sixth whilst Dani Pedrosa was seventh. Tito Rabat took an impressive eighth place, whilst Jack Miller was ninth. Aleix Espargaro took tenth place.
The next round of the MotoGP world championship will take place in two weeks time at the Jerez circuit in Spain for the Spanish GP. This will see the riders return to Europe in what should be an enthralling
