Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi has suffered a broken leg in an enduro training accident, according to Italian media.
The nine-times world champion has reportedly suffered a fracture to his fibula and tibia on his right leg when he crashed while riding enduro with his VR46 academy riders.

The Italian was taken to hospital in Urbino where his injury was examined, with local media suggesting he will undergo surgery this evening.
The right leg is the one Rossi broke back in 2010 after a crash during practice for the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello.
That injury put paid to his championship aspirations, though he was able to return to action just six weeks later at the German Grand Prix and finished fourth.
Yamaha is yet to comment on the situation, though it is believed Rossi will miss his home round at Misano next weekend and the Aragon Grand Prix two weeks later.
This is the second time this year Rossi has injured himself while training with a dirt bike.
Prior to the Mugello race, the Yamaha rider suffered soft tissue damage to his abdomen in a motocross crash – though was still able to race in front of his home crowd.
After finishing third at the British Grand Prix, Rossi lies 26 points adrift of standings leader Andrea Dovizioso in fourth in the championship. This latest injury will make achieving a 10th world title almost impossible.
Read Motorsport will bring you the latest on the situation once we have more details.
