Driver Ratings: 2017 Hungarian Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel took his fourth victory of 2017 in his 50th race for Ferrari in Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix.

It was far from Vettel’s easiest win, as he faced immense pressure from team-mate Kimi Raikkonen and championship rival Lewis Hamilton.

Vettel battled through steering woes to claim victory with Raikkonen settling for second place and completing Ferrari’s second one-two finish of the year.

Valtteri Bottas rounded out the podium after an orchestrated swap with Lewis Hamilton, who returned the favour of Bottas letting him through earlier in the race with a last corner switch.

Max Verstappen recovered from contact with his Red Bull team-mate Daniel Ricciardo and subsequent 10-second penalty to finish in fifth position.

Fernando Alonso achieved his best result with McLaren-Honda of 2017 with a sixth place finish, ahead of fellow countryman Carlos Sainz Jr.

Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne made it two McLarens in the top 10, with tenth behind the Force India duo of Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon.
