# Rea recovers from Saturday crash to take race two victory

Double World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea fought back from his race one crash to take victory in race two at Donington Park.

The Ulsterman extended his championship lead to 55 points, as championship rivals Tom Sykes and Chaz Davies finished just behind him. Rea ended Sykes’ run of victories at Donington, putting himself back in the driving seat his third championship in a row.

Chaz Davies again had crashes affect his race. Leon Haslam crashed out after colliding with Leandro Mercardo, forcing Davies wide. He was able to recover, however, and fought back to third place.
