Britain’s Scott Redding has secured first place and therefore passage into Q2 in the third free practice session for the MotoGP class.
The end of the session saw a hectic dash, as riders looked to improve their times to get automatically into Q2.
Jack Miller’s time at the top of the session looked to be going unchallenged, before Redding and Cal Crutchlow challenged the Australian, showing great pace going into qualifying.
The British pairing finished in first and second respectively, with Miller ending the morning in third. Valentino Rossi moved into Q2 easily, finishing fourth.

Marc Marquez was fifth, with Karel Abraham impressing yet again with a sixth place. It was a historic moment for KTM, as Pol Espargaro gave them their first Q2 with a seventh placed finish. Bradley Smith gave them more hope, by finishing tenth, meaning both Austrian machines will battle it out in Q2.
The final two riders into Q2 are Maverick Vinales and Loris Baz, celebrating his home race.
Big names in Q1 include Dani Pedrosa, Andrea Dovizioso and Johann Zarco. Jorge Lorenzo ended up at the back of the timesheets, with another disappointing performance.
Qualifying One gets underway at 13:10 BST, with Q2 beginning at 13:35 BST.
