2017 Chinese Grand Prix – Driver Ratings

Formula 1 was back to its best in China with thrilling overtaking manoeuvres and close battling.

Lewis Hamilton stormed to a fifth win at the Shanghai International Circuit, winning ahead of Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen.

Hamilton controlled the race from the front and showed that Mercedes had the strongest race pace in Shanghai.

The battle for the victory would have been closer had Vettel not dropped behind both of the Red Bulls and team-mate Kimi Raikkonen.

Max Verstappen recovered from 17th on the grid to finish third ahead of team-mate Daniel Ricciardo and Verstappen.
