McLaren Honda has pulled the covers off of their 2017 challenger, the third since Honda returned to Formula One as an engine supplier.
After much anticipation, the team revealed that orange will be returning to its livery when it launched the car at the team’s base in Woking.
The MCL32 – the team dropping the “MP4” when Ron Dennis left – will be driven by Fernando Alonso, who remains at the team for a third consecutive season, and Stoffel Vandoorne, who will be completing his first full season in F1.
McLaren are looking to stop the trend of disappointing results which they’ve suffered since switching from Mercedes to Honda power, though new team boss Zak Brown isn’t predicting spectacular results until 2018 at the earliest.
