# Giovinazzi and Leclerc headline post-season GP2 Test

The entry list for the first day of GP2’s post-season test in Abu Dhabi has been revealed. The 22 driver list includes 2016 series runner-up Antonio Giovinazzi and 2016 GP3 champion Charles Leclerc.

The newly crowned champions, Prema Racing will be running their 2017 drivers, Charles Leclerc and Antonio Fuoco, while 2016 runners-up, Racing Engineering will be fielding 2016 Formula V8 3.5 runner-up Louis Deletraz and 2016 Rapax driver Gustav Malja.

Oliver Rowland joins the returning Nicholas Latifi at DAMS while Jordan King switches from Racing Engineering to RUSSIAN TIME machinery for this test. Highly rated Russian, Egor Orduhzhev will test for Campos and will be joined by their leading 2016 GP3 driver, Alex Palou.

Italian Luca Ghiotto will test for Rapax alongside GP2 veteran Johnny Cecotto who raced for the Italian team in the final four races of this past season. Mahaveer Raghunathan is amongst the lesser-known names on the entry list. The Indian driver competed in the opening round of this year’s GP3 season but then suddenly called time on his campaign.

Raghunathan will test for Carlin and will be joined by one of the British team’s leading IndyLights’ drivers, Felix Serralles. In a surprising twist, Raffaele Marciello will return to Trident despite leaving the team at the end of 2015. Philo Paz Armand joins him to round his racing year.

The recently announced 2017 MP Motorsport driver, Sergio Sette Camara will begin his preparation for the up and coming season in Abu Dhabi and Salvatore Del Plano will partner the Brazilian. Del Plano tested with the Dutch team last December and should act as a good benchmark for Camara.

Finally, Arden International will run highly rated Italian Antonio Giovinazzi and his fellow Team Jagonya Ayam backed driver Sean Gelael. This could possibly hint at a shock tie-in between the British team and the Indonesian sponsors. Although it’s unlikely as Campos already have a major sponsorship deal with TJA.

All three days will consist of a three-hour afternoon session and a four-hour evening session. The medium compound will be used for these three days and each car will be supplied with seven sets of tyres.
