Legends such as double world champion Emerson Fittipaldi and triple world champion Nelson Piquet have inspired generations of young Brazilian’s to follow in their footsteps and race in Formula One.
When Fittipaldi won his first Grand Prix in 1970, he was the sole Brazilian on the grid. 40 years later, four drivers from the South American country competed in the 2010 season, a true testament to the legacy left.
