# Formula E Season Three Preview: Mahindra

Mahindra enter their third season of Formula E with an exciting driver line-up, pre-season promise and very big ambitions.

They struggled in their first season of all-electric racing, with a best result of fourth and eighth place in the Teams’ Championship courtesy of their drivers, Bruno Senna and Karun Chandhok. The Indian left the team after just one season, he was replaced by Nick Heidfeld who made an instant impact by scoring the teams’ maiden podium in the season opener in Beijing.

Senna and Heidfeld also earned the team’s first ever double points finish in the second round and continued their strong form with another podium in London and by the end of the season, they had accumulated 105 points and ended up fifth in the Teams’ Championship with Heidfeld and Senna 10th and 11th in the Drivers’ Championship.

This year, the Indian team have signed highly rated Swedish driver Felix Rosenqvist to partner the returning Nick Heidfeld.
