# New York ePrix confirmed as Formula E Season Three Finale

New York is set to host the Formula E season three finale in July 2017 around the streets of Brooklyn.

The New York City Mayor’s Office today confirmed through Twitter that the city will hold a Formula E race in July 2017.

The London ePrix, which hosted the final two ePrix for the first two seasons of Formula E, has so far failed to find a new location after it was announced they wouldn’t return to Battersea Park.

Like in London, New York will see two races take place over July 29 and 30 next year, and will see the final action of the 2016/17 season. The penultimate race of the season in Montreal, Canada is also set to be a double-header.

They also have revealed the track layout and location, with Brooklyn being the borough of New York to host Formula E. The track contains 13 turns and runs by the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, which should make the New York ePrix one of the most picturesque on the Formula E calendar.

North America has previously seen Formula E race in Long Beach and Miami, but neither are currently scheduled to hold an ePrix this season.

The third season of Formula E kicks off on October 9 in Hong Kong, and will see 13 more rounds of action.
