Ocon given another Friday outing for Renault

Esteban Ocon will be back in the Renault RS16 at this weekend’s German Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring.

This will be the fourth time this season Ocon will participate in first practice for Renault, this weekend he replaces Jolyon Palmer.

Ocon is the reigning GP3 champion and many expect him to replace Palmer at Renault for next season.

The Frenchman is currently backed by Mercedes but is on loan at Renault.

Ocon has had a lot of F1 mileage this season, taking part in four practice sessions and driving for Mercedes on two days at Silverstone earlier this month.

Haas have already confirmed that Charles Leclerc will be driving for them in FP1.
