Lewis Hamilton won the 2016 Hungarian Grand Prix to make it five victories in six races for the triple world champion.

The Brit now takes the lead in the Drivers’ Championship from teammate Nico Rosberg who finished second after starting from pole.

Daniel Ricciardo scored his third successive podium in Hungary to move up to third in the Drivers’ Standings.

Sebastian Vettel finished fourth for the second time this year ahead of Max Verstappen and teammate Kimi Raikkonen who came from 13th to sixth in the race.

Fernando Alonso returned to the points for the first time since Monaco with a seventh place finish.

Carlos Sainz came home in eighth place ahead of Valtteri Bottas and Nico Hulkenberg who finished 10th for the first time since the 2014 Belgium Grand Prix.

Jenson Button was the only driver to retire from the race after an oil leak on lap 60.
