# Renault e.dams top two in first practice

Sebastien Buemi and Nico Prost ended the first practice session in the final London ePrix in first and second, looking strong for the final race.

Buemi put in the quickest lap of the weekend to top the time sheets, while his teammate who won the race yesterday wasn’t too far behind him.

Multiple drivers had issues at Turn 3, having to use the run-off to prevent trouble. Simona de Silvestro was going slow after damaging her car at the final corner, and the two Team Aguri got together behind her just before Turn 3.

Jean-Eric Vergne, one of the drivers who didn’t have a fault-free run, was best of the rest in third. Mike Conway did a great job to get his Venturi machine into fourth place.

The two Abt Schaeffler drivers were only able to set a time good enough for fifth and sixth. They will hope that they can find time during the day, as both the Drivers’ Championship and Teams’ Championship is still on the line.

Sam Bird finished the session in seventh, and has looked not as fast at the London ePrix compared to his teammate Vergne. He won the final race last year, but doesn’t look like he will do the same again.

Loic Duval and Jerome d’Ambrosio finished eighth and ninth on very close times, the Dragon Racing team announcing a new partnership for next season with Faraday Future. Second place man yesterday Bruno Senna rounds off the top ten.
