Round six of the 2016 Formula One season heads to the principality of Monte Carlo for the Monaco Grand Prix. The race around the streets of Monaco has been a regular fixture on the F1 calendar since 1950 and is one that is adored by drivers and fans around the globe.

The last round in Spain saw a race full of drama after the two Mercedes drivers collided on the opening lap allowing it to be a four-way battle for the lead between the Red Bulls and Ferraris. 18-year-old Max Verstappen, who had replaced Daniil Kvyat in Spain, took his first career victory ahead of Kimi Raikkonen in a momentous day for the sport as a whole.

Red Bull are expected to go well this weekend, at a circuit which will suit the strengths of the RB12, but will they? Mercedes will surely be the team to beat after winning the last three races in Monaco. Red Bull will likely be second best ahead of Ferrari. McLaren-Honda and Toro Rosso are likely to be the best placed teams behind the leading trio.

In Monaco tradition, practice gets underway on Thursday morning at 0900 BST.
