Lewis Hamilton finished final practice for the Russian Grand Prix at the Sochi Autodrom fastest ahead of Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg.
A late lap from the reigning champion put him just 0.068s clear of Rosberg.
Once again, Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel was best of the rest in third, 0.604s shy of Rosberg’s benchmark. The four-time champion will start five places lower than he will qualify after picking up a five-place grid penalty due to a gearbox change.
Kimi Raikkonen led the Williams duo of Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas – who look to be in a close fight with the Red Bulls, who seemingly underperformed in final practice.

Max Verstappen continued to impress for Toro Rosso and was seventh fastest. McLaren will be encouraged as Jenson Button was eighth ahead of Carlos Sainz and Daniel Ricciardo, who round out the top 10 positions.
The supersoft tyres are able to do several laps rather than the traditional single lap meaning qualifying may see more running than usual.
Qualifying for the Russian Grand Prix gets underway at 1300 BST.
