Red Bull Racing their new Formula One cockpit safety device dubbed the ‘aeroscreen’.
Daniel Ricciardo tested the new device, driving with it during the opening 10 minutes of FP1 at the Sochi Autodrom.

Reaction amongst fans has been inevitably mixed but with Red Bull’s ‘aeroscreen’ concept on the table alongside Ferrari’s ‘halo’ device which was tested during pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, it means the FIA has two devices on the table to potentially make mandatory in 2017 or in the future.
