Australian Grand Prix Predictions

The Formula One 2016 season kicks off in Australia this weekend and a lot has changed since we last visited Albert Park.

The new elimination style of qualifying is the biggest change, and it could well lead to a lot more surprises on Saturday.

Having won last years grand prix, Hamilton will want to get off to the same start here, particularly with the immense form Rosberg was in at the end of last year.

Testing showed that the Ferrari’s might well be just as quick as the Mercedes, with Williams and Force India not as far behind either.

McLaren didn’t look to have made much of a jump and could still be struggling in midfield, whereas newcomers Haas might not be as far back as some imagined.

With all that in mind here’s a look at both the qualifying and race predictions ahead of the season opener in Melbourne.
