F1 2017 regulations begin to take shape

Details of Formula One’s planned shakeup of the technical regulations have emerged from Geneva, where Bernie Ecclestone and Jean Todt met with representatives of all 11 teams on the grid to discuss the direction of the sport in 2017.

Rumours of regulation changes in the sport have been rife in recent months, with fans growing tired of dull, processional races and engines whose pitch and volume are nowhere near high enough or loud enough to appease the average supporter.
