# Top Five Races: Jenson Button

The 2009 Formula One world champion turns 36 today, to celebrate we are going to count down his top five best races in Formula One.

The British driver entered the sport with Williams in 2000, hotly tipped to be Britain’s next motorsports superstar, the dream never materialised early on in JB’s career, after nine seasons in Formula One, he had achieved just one victory in 153 races.

But then the 2009 Formula One season happened and Jenson Button finally got the chance to win the championship and boy did he take it. Jenson took six victories on his way to the 2009 championship with Brawn GP.

After Brawn GP was bought by Mercedes, Button moved to McLaren for the 2010 season and is set to begin his 17th season in Formula One in 2016.
