Following a selection process with Sky Sports, Channel 4 have announced the 10 live F1 races it will show live on the channel in 2016. Their coverage begins with the second race of the season, the Bahrain Grand Prix, on the weekend of 1-3 April, and ends with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the weekend of 25-27 November.
The first European race of the season in Spain will be shown ahead of the first European Grand Prix since 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan, and the traditional highlight for the UK audience, the British Grand Prix.
Three of the next four calendar races after Silverstone in Hungary, Belgium and Italy will then be shown ahead of the Malaysian Grand Prix in its new autumnal slot at the end of September.

The Mexican Grand Prix, which came back to the sport in 2015 with aplomb after a 23-year absence, will be their penultimate live race before the season-ending race at the Yas Marina Circuit.
The channel will have ‘comprehensive’ highlights of the other 11 races, that you would expect to include qualifying and race highlights, beginning with the season-opening Australian Grand Prix on 18-20 March.
This news comes after David Coulthard was confirmed to be working with the broadcaster, with the rest of the members of the presenting and commentary team to be announced at a later date.
