Manor passes crash tests with 2016 challenger

Manor F1 Team has passed the FIA’s mandatory crash tests ahead of pre-season testing which gets underway in February.

The team confirmed the news via Twitter as preparations for pre-season testing get underway.

Manor have yet to announce their driver line-up for the 2016 season. Rio Haryanto and Alexander Rossi are the leading favourites to drive for the team in 2016.

Manor are on track to debut their 2016 Formula One car in Barcelona next month at the Circuit de Catalunya, with two pre-season tests set to take place from February 22-25 and March 1-4.

Manor will run the Mercedes power unit in 2016 which many expect will allow Manor to move closer to the midfield.

They have yet to announce when their car will be launched nor the name of their car.
