# Top 10: GP2 Drivers Of 2015

The 11th season of GP2 was one of the most exciting and gripping years of racing that the sport has ever seen.

We saw 36 drivers compete in the series this season. Rising above them all was McLaren junior Stoffel Vandoorne, he became the 11th champion and one of the most dominant champions in motorsports, let alone GP2.

We also saw electric pace from new faces – Sergey Sirotkin, Alex Lynn and Pierre Gasly shone brightest of the debutants: all potential GP2 champions of the future.

Some experienced drivers, such as Rossi and Haryanto, were finally able to show their true pace while some such as Arthur Pic and Andre Negrao suffered a classic case of second season syndrome – failing to live up to the amazing standard they set in their debut GP2 campaign.
