MotoGP on Read Motorsport

From 2016, Read Motorsport will be expanding from four wheels to two wheels.

Over the past 18 months, Read Motorsport has extensively covered Formula One and GP2 to a professional standard. We broadened our horizons in 2015 and covered Esteban Ocon and Luca Ghiotto’s title battle in GP3 and also the opening two rounds of season two of the FIA Formula E series.

2015 was a fascinating year for MotoGP. A titanic title battle between the two Yamaha riders, Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. The drama in Kuala Lumpur between Marquez and Rossi but also all of the fallout after it.

2016 has the hallmarks to be another fantastic season. The resurgence of Dani Pedrosa in the last four rounds of the championship, Marquez will surely be back on form consistently after a disappointing season, by his high standards while the rivalry between the two factory Yamaha’s will surely intensify.

One major change in 2016 sees Michelin become the sport’s tyre supplier after Bridgestone’s departure. A new tyre supplier will throw another variable into the mix.
