Williams’ Felipe Massa topped the timesheets in second practice for the Russian Grand Prix.
This is the first session Williams has topped in 2015. Sebastian Vettel was second fastest ahead of Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen.
Not many laps were completed by any of the drivers as rain fell throughout the full 90-minute session.
Fernando Alonso was out there early and briefly led the session before Verstappen beat the Spaniard’s benchmark.
A late lap from Valtteri Bottas put him top of the timesheets but his late lap was beaten by Vettel but then again by teammate Massa.
Fernando Alonso finished fifth fastest ahead of Kvyat, Sainz and Button.
The rest of the field did not set a flying lap.
