# Ricciardo happy with handling of RB11

Daniel Ricciardo says he is happy with the handling of his Red Bull car after setting the third fastest times in both practice sessions for the Singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Red Bull teammate Daniil Kvyat topped second practice which confirmed the strong pace of the RB11 around the streets of Singapore.

Despite setting the third fastest time, Ricciardo admits there is more time in hand after traffic compromised his fastest lap.

“Both free practices today were good for us, we hit a bit of traffic on the Option lap, but we know what we have and I think we are looking good for the weekend.

“Saturday is the important day but I am happy we started off on the right foot in free practice. The car felt strong and as expected is performing well at this track. We will be doing some fine tuning tonight.

Like Vettel, [who said after practice Mercedes had yet to show their true speed](https://readmotorsport.com/2015/09/18/mercedes-yet-show-true-pace-vettel/), Ricciardo thinks the same.

“We expect the silver cars and the red ones to turn it up tomorrow, but hopefully we can keep the pace we showed to get up as far the grid as possible.”
