# Pirelli announce tyre allocation for next three races

Pirelli will go a step softer for October’s Russian Grand Prix by bringing the supersoft and soft tyres.

The smooth surface at the Sochi Autodrom means Pirelli will bring the supersoft and soft tyres.

Nico Rosberg completed all but one lap on one set of medium tyres in 2014 hence the change of tyres for Russia.

This is only the second time this year Pirelli has altered its tyre allocation compared to what was used in 2014.

Similarly, they will be used at next week’s Singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Street Circuit – like in 2011, 2012 and 2014.

For the Japanese Grand Prix, Pirelli have nominated the two hardest compounds, the hard and medium tyres. Due to Suzuka’s high-energy demands and fast corners.
