Everyone At Mercedes Pulling Together – Lauda

sne19787The chairman of Mercedes, Niki Lauda has said that every person at the Brackley team are pulling their weight to get them back to winning ways after being beaten by Ferrari last time out in Malaysia.

It is the first time since really last years Hungarian GP that they have been beaten on race pace. After a dominant opening race in Australia, Sebastian Vettel’s win at Malaysia may have caught one or two at the world champion team by surprise.

Mercedes have said they will make sure they bounce back from the defeat and Lauda is encouraged by the work he is seeing at the teams factory.

“We all need to pull together to haul Ferrari and Vettel back in, there’s no in-fighting in the team. That’s totally clear for everyone,” he told Germany’s Bild am Sonntag.

Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were embroiled in a titanic title battle all season long in 2014, which tested their friendship but Rosberg posted a selfie of the pair on their way to the factory in a private jet.

Lauda said the team have been analysing data to make sure the team do not get beat again next time out in China.

“This time everyone attended, we have analysed the race as a big group and are now well equipped for China,” he said.
