The world champions Mercedes give runner-up Nico Rosberg the wheel on Tuesday, whilst test driver Pascal Wehrlein will make his Mercedes début. Red Bull are going to test Carlos Sainz Jr. on Tuesday, giving him a chance to prove himself for the vacant Toro Rosso seat. Daniel Ricciardo will complete on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, Raffaele Marciello will drive the Ferrari on Wednesday, whilst Lotus will give Euro F3 winner Esteban Ocon a drive. [Marcus Ericsson will test for his new team](https://www.f1update.co.uk/F1/sauber-confirm-marcus-ericsson-for-2015/), whilst Will Stevens will drive in the Caterham following his first ever race on Sunday. GP2 winner Jolyon Palmer has earned a test for Force India, who he is expected to sign for as a test driver. Former F3 driver Spike Goddard will also get a chance in the Force India.

Stoffel Vandoorne will be testing the McLaren MP4-29H/1X1 car. This is a stop-gap car created by the team with test parts for next season and also runs the new Honda engine. It will be the Honda engine’s first proper mileage, as the team were limited to 100KM for [their filming day earlier this month](https://www.f1update.co.uk/F1/mclaren-honda-chassis-gets-first-outing-at-silverstone/). Vandoorne is believed to be considered as a potential replacement for Jenson Button, as the team continue to debate on who will partner Fernando Alonso next season.
