In an interview with the media in the Austin paddock yesterday, Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso says he “more or less” knows where he will be next season but he still isn’t giving any clues.

The future of the double World Champion remains a mystery with Alonso inundated with questions about where he will be next season. What fans do know is that he won’t be with Ferrari after former president Luca di Montezemolo revealed he is moving on.

While some believe he will be heading to McLaren, others fear he may have been caught out by Sebastian Vettel’s announcement and could be forced into taking a sabbatical.

At the present time though, Alonso isn’t willing to give anything away. In his interview in the Austin paddock with the media yesterday, Alonso stated the following on the subject of his future for 2015:-

‘I know, yes. More or less. I cannot say categorically anything. I have a very ambitious plan in my head for my future.

‘I think that this is the best thing for Ferrari as well. If that happens people will be very, very excited – as I am. I am extremely happy and all the things in the last two or three months follow exactly the plan that I had.’

It would seem from what Alonso has stated in his interview yesterday that he knows what his plans will be for the 2015 season and cannot announce what his plans are officially yet.

But what is clear is that he feels that whatever is happening with him next season that it is the best choice for him and also the Ferrari team. It would appear that Alonso is very excited about next season and is happy with the decision that he has made and follows what he wanted to do and achieve as well.

But it is clear that the F1 world is awaiting to see just what Alonso is doing and the spotlight is firmly upon him as soon as possible to release this information. But until Alonso is ready or can announce what he will be doing for the 2015 season, all we can do is wait and see in the next few weeks what happens.
