Ferrari have released a statement denying recent reports that engineering director, Pat Fry was recently fired.
Sky Sports F1 believe that Fry is one of a number of high-profile engineers to be sacked after a tough first half of the season for Ferrari.
Also reported earlier this month was that Ferrari had hired ten new engineers which then followed up with engine chief Luca Marmorini also being fired.
Ferrari’s new team principal Marco Mattiacci also said there would major changes to the Italian outfit and they will “different” for the 2015 season, but said there would be no statements on what the changes are.
According to Sky Sports Online, a spokesman for Ferrari has formally denied that Fry was let go.
