Alex Palou led a Hitech GP one-two in the second day of European Formula 3 preseason testing at the Hungaroring.

The GP3 race winner’s best time, set in the morning session, was two tenths of a second quicker than team-mate Enaam Ahmed and just 0.004s slower than the best time of the test – set by Mick Schumacher in day one of testing.

Ralf Aron was the quickest Prema Powerteam driver. His 1m34.624s lap time, set in the morning session, put him third overall, just ahead of team-mates Mick Schumacher, Robert Shwartzman, and Guanyu Zhou.

Renault Academy driver Sacha Fenestraz was the only Carlin driver inside the top 10. He finished seventh overall while the next best Carlin man, Ferdinand Habsburg, could only manage 16th quickest.

Hitech’s Ben Hingely, Prema’s Marcus Armstrong, and Motopark’s Sebastian Fernandez rounded out the top 10.
